Significance

In the New Age tradition, truth and integrity are seen as forms of energy that either build harmony or create chaos. A person—especially a leader—who uses lies or manipulates others is not just breaking trust, but also disturbing the spiritual balance between themselves and the people they serve. When a politician gaslights others—by denying facts, rewriting history, or misleading their followers—they may gain control for a time, but they are sowing seeds of distrust, pain, and confusion.

This is happening far too often today. Politicians around the world are using dishonesty as a tool of power, expecting their followers to ignore what they’ve seen and heard. This is not leadership—it’s spiritual harm. Every major belief system teaches the value of truth, honesty, and service. When we lie or manipulate others, especially from a position of power, we damage more than reputations—we harm souls, communities, and the future. Real service comes from clarity, courage, and the willingness to be honest, even when it’s difficult.

Affirmation

Today, I choose truth in all my words and integrity in all my actions. I will not be swayed by illusion, but rooted in clarity, love, and service to others.
