Day 116 of 1461

🌍 Verse of the Day

“Ye are the fruits of one tree, and the leaves of one branch.”
— Bahá’u’lláh

✨ Significance

There are moments when the foundations of identity—where we belong, who we are allowed to be, and what rights we are granted—are quietly questioned. At such times, it helps to remember the spiritual truth that transcends politics and paperwork: we are all born with dignity, and none of us is more entitled to the earth than another.

The Bahá’í Faith teaches that all people are members of one human family. National borders, while necessary for organization, must never override the truth of our shared humanity. To deny someone full recognition based on where—or to whom—they were born is to deny a part of ourselves. Laws should uplift and protect, not divide and diminish.

When we use compassion as our compass, we are less likely to drift into policies that cause harm. Citizenship, in the highest spiritual sense, belongs to all who inhabit this planet with goodwill and love in their hearts.
