Day 101 of 1461

Verse

Galatians 6:2 (NIV)
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Significance

In life, it’s easy to stand apart from those who are different, to form opinions from a distance, or to judge what we do not understand. Yet Christ calls us to something higher. We are not asked to ignore or condemn others — we are asked to carry their burdens with them. This is the law of love that Jesus taught.

Carrying another’s burden does not mean we have to agree with everything they do or understand every step of their journey. It means we walk alongside them with kindness, empathy, and support. It means offering dignity where others offer disdain, and hope where others offer judgment. When we lift others up — especially those who are hurting, misunderstood, or left on the margins — we live out the heart of Christ’s teachings.

A society that seeks to uplift, rather than tear down, reflects the grace of God. Today, let us remember that compassion is not weakness. It is the true strength of faith in action.

Affirmation

I will help carry the burdens of others with kindness and love, remembering that true strength is found in compassion and understanding.
