Day 71 of 1461

“The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.”

This passage reminds us that deception is a powerful tool in the hands of corrupt leaders, who manipulate people with false promises, fear, and division. In today’s political climate, we see leaders across the world gaining influence by distorting truth, appealing to emotions rather than reason, and using power for personal gain rather than justice. Many are drawn in by their words, failing to discern the lies from the truth, just as Paul warned.

Yet, despite the rise of deception and corruption, we must remember that God remains in control. No ruler, no government, no movement can ever stand against the power and sovereignty of the Almighty. While deception may reign for a time, it will ultimately be exposed, and justice will prevail. As believers, we are called to stand firm in truth, to seek wisdom, and to trust that God’s plan is greater than any scheme of man. Though the world may be filled with chaos and uncertainty, we can rest in the assurance that God’s kingdom is unshaken, and His justice will triumph in the end.
